Burn the Ocean – new single/video – Precious things

Nuovo singolo per la stoner/metal band genovese Burn the Ocean, dal titolo Precious things, che segue di quasi cinque anni la pubblicazione dell’album Zeit.

Il brano è stato registrato dal vivo dalla band ai Blackwave Studio, e mixato da Fabio Palombi, vocalist e chitarrista della band, mentre il mastering è stato affidato a Giovanni Versari.

Il nuovo singolo farà parte del prossimo album della band, che dovrebbe uscire entro i primi mesi di questo nuovo anno per Argonauta Records, che si intitolerà Modern Ruins.

Spendiamo due parole su quali sono le nostre cose preziose. Crediamo che tutti vogliano essere ricordati in questa vita. Lasciare un segno in qualche modo, come… Beh, non ci saremo per sempre.

Questa canzone è per tutti noi, per le nostre passioni e arte, per i nostri figli e figlie e per l’impatto che possiamo avere sulla comunità in cui viviamo. Una specie di inno, per raccogliere e tenere al sicuro le nostre cose più preziose affinché qualcuno un giorno si ricordi di noi.

Il video del brano è stato diretto da Palombi stesso con l’ausilio e la collaborazione di Andrea Larosa, il tutto girato a Urbe, sugli appennini savonesi.

I Burn the Ocean nascono nel 2014 sotto la spinta del frontman della band death metal Nerve Fabio Palombi, insieme ai membri della storica band 2 Novembre, il chitarrista e vocalist Emanuele Shuxtere Pecollo, la bassista Valentina Di Maggio e il batterista Davide Di Maggio. In tempi recenti la bassista è stata sostituita da Massimo Kabuto Repetto (ex Gandhi’s Gunn), mentre alla batteria è subentrato Christian Parisi (che ricordiamo in band quali Zorn, Athlantis, Raza de Ódio and Cadaveria).
